Garrett from Longview Commits to Incarnate Word University
Daedrion “Buddha” Garrett, a former Longview Lobo, has announced his commitment to Incarnate Word University. The announcement was made on X, marking an important step in Garrett’s football career.
Garrett’s Journey to Incarnate Word
Garrett began his college football journey at Tulsa, spending two seasons with the Golden Hurricane. After entering the transfer portal on January 2, he is set to continue his athletic pursuits at Incarnate Word.
Performance at Tulsa
During his freshman year, Garrett showcased his defensive skills, recording:
- 39 tackles
- One forced fumble
- One fumble recovery
- One interception
In his second season, he registered 11 tackles, contributing to the team’s defensive efforts.
Joining Fellow East Texans
At Incarnate Word, Garrett will be joining other East Texas players, including:
