Authorities in Montgomery County have apprehended Ziyker Washington, a suspect linked to the murder of 19-year-old Hamin Boyd in Norristown. Washington, aged 20, was taken into custody without incident by SWAT officers at a residence in Philadelphia on a recent Monday evening.

The shooting incident occurred on November 30, when Boyd was shot on the 1000 block of Powell Street. This tragic event highlights ongoing feuds among local youth.
Arrests and Charges
- Ziyker Washington is the third individual charged in connection with the murder.
- Previously, Mark Fields, 18, from Norristown, and Theodore Adams, 17, from Philadelphia, were also arrested.
Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele described the murder as a result of “senseless feuding between two groups of young people.” This altercation not only claimed Boyd’s life but also led to legal consequences for three other individuals.
