Kratos, the titular protagonist of the series, is a Spartan by birth and a god by nature. He grew up in a militaristic culture, ultimately commanding armies for his homeland. However, his fate changed drastically after making a pact with Ares, the Greek God of War, leading to the loss of his soul in exchange for victory in combat.
Series Overview
The upcoming series will explore themes introduced in the two recent “God of War” video games. It follows Kratos and his ten-year-old son, Atreus, on a deeply personal journey. The duo seeks to spread the ashes of Faye, their deceased wife and mother.
