Newsday Readers Reveal Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2026 Results

Baseball fans frequently express their views on players who merit induction into the Hall of Fame. This year, El-Balad engaged readers in an interactive poll to share their opinions on the Class of 2026 Baseball Hall of Fame ballot.

Readers had the opportunity to select up to 10 candidates from a provided ballot. This mirrors the voting process used by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America (BBWAA). Voters could also choose to submit a blank ballot, as permitted under official voting rules.

Voting Criteria

For a player to secure induction, they must receive 75% of the votes cast. This criterion ensures that only the most deserving players are recognized by the Hall of Fame.

Poll Participation

In total, El-Balad subscribers submitted 448 ballots. Each participated enthusiastically, showcasing their preferences for who they believe should be honored in the Class of 2026.
