Fifteen Years Later
Fast forward 15 years, Caleb, now played by Sandro Rosta, is in a prison transport, searching for his mother. Nahla Ake, played by Holly Hunter, is appointed by Admiral Vance to lead the reopening of Starfleet Academy after the devastation of The Burn. She informs Caleb that his mother escaped prison a year prior, which encourages him to consider attending Starfleet Academy.
