Lane Hutson, a defenseman for the Montreal Canadiens, has made history by becoming the second-fastest defenseman to reach 100 career assists in NHL history. This achievement came during a game against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night.

Hutson reached the 100-assist mark in just 132 games. The only player who accomplished the feat faster is Sergei Zubov, who did it in 127 games.
