West Indies Reveals Squad for T20 Series Against Afghanistan
Cricket West Indies (CWI) has officially announced the squad for the T20 International series against Afghanistan. This three-match series is set to take place at the Dubai Cricket International Stadium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from January 19 to 22, 2026. The series is viewed as essential preparation for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which begins on February 6, 2026.

Brandon King will lead the 16-member squad in the absence of regular captain Shai Hope, who is unavailable due to commitments in the ongoing SA20 tournament. King’s leadership experience includes previous T20 international matches, such as the recent series against South Africa.
