Arctic Blast Continues as temperatures are expected to plunge significantly across various regions. On January 22, forecasts predict some areas will see morning temperatures drop to around -19°C, marking one of the coldest days of this winter.

Cold wave warnings have been issued nationwide, signaling widespread frigid conditions. Coastal areas, like Dongmak Beach in Ganghwa, Incheon, have reported parts of the sea freezing over.

- Afternoon high temperatures: -7°C to +2°C
- Majority of inland areas will experience sub-zero temperatures throughout the day.
In addition to extreme cold, the weather service forecasts ongoing snowfall in the western coastal areas of Jeolla and Jeju Island. This will increase the risk of icy roads, making travel hazardous for residents.
