Coleen Nolan’s Journey of Loss and Reflection

In a recent interview, Coleen opened up about the grief that continues to affect her life. Linda, a beloved figure on “Loose Women” and known for her advocacy in breast cancer awareness, passed away in January 2025 at the age of 65. Her death followed a battle with pneumonia after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. Although Linda had achieved a cancer-free status in 2011, she faced a resurgence of the disease in 2017.

Bernie, another sister, succumbed to breast cancer in 2013 at just 52 years old. Their deaths have profoundly affected Coleen, who shared, “It wouldn’t feel right for us to reunite and go back out on tour as The Nolans without Bernie and Linda. It would make me miss them even more.”

Personal Insights and Aspirations

At 60, Coleen has shifted her perspective on life’s unpredictability and abandoned New Year’s resolutions, stating, “I’ve given up because I always fail.” Instead, she welcomes the unknown aspects of 2026. She shared her enthusiasm for participating in “Strictly Come Dancing,” expressing disappointment at not being invited despite her passion.
