Portland Fire Unveils Season Schedule with Portlandia Stars’ Support
The Portland Fire is set to kick off its 2026 season at home on May 9 against the Chicago Sky. This marks the franchise’s return to the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) after a 24-year absence.

The complete schedule, released on Wednesday, features a total of 44 regular-season games. Of these, 22 will be held at the Moda Center in Portland.

Commissioner’s Cup Participation
This season, the Portland Fire will also participate in the Commissioner’s Cup for the first time. This in-season competition runs from June 2 to June 17 and features seven games against Western Conference teams. These matches will influence the regular-season standings.
