$5k Reward Announced for Rescue of Abandoned Poodles in Colchester Cold
Authorities in Colchester, Connecticut, are seeking information about the abandonment of two small black female poodles. A reward of $5,000 is being offered for tips that lead to the arrest and prosecution of the individuals responsible for this act.
Details of the Abandonment
One poodle was discovered early Monday morning in a snowbank near Clark Road. The following day, a second poodle was found near a Valero gas station located on Gillette Lane. Both dogs are under the care of Desmond’s Army Animal Law Advocates.
Condition of the Dogs
Currently, both poodles are in poor condition. They are severely underweight and heavily matted. One of the poodles appears to have recently given birth.
