A case of measles was reported aboard a Royal Air Maroc flight that landed at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport on January 17. Public health officials are urging passengers from this flight to monitor their symptoms for possible measles infection.

The infected individual was a passenger on flight AT558, which originated in Cotonou, Benin. It had a layover of eight hours in Casablanca, Morocco, before continuing to Montreal on flight AT208. This person was contagious during travel.
