On Tuesday morning, a significant incident unfolded on Highway 401 between Belleville and Trenton. Multiple collisions involving several vehicles have been reported, beginning shortly before 8:00 a.m. The visibility in the area was reportedly near zero, contributing to the multi-vehicle accidents.

The collisions included numerous tractor trailers, passenger vehicles, and at least one cube van. A fire broke out involving one of the large trucks, adding to the emergency response challenges.
Traffic Impact and Emergency Response

- Westbound lanes are closed eastward to Shannonville Road.
- Eastbound traffic is blocked at Glen Miller Road.
