Rising country artist Ella Langley has officially announced her upcoming sophomore album, titled Dandelion, set to release on April 10, 2026. This album follows her debut album, hungover, which was released in 2024. Fans can expect the title track, “Dandelion,” to be available tomorrow, January 30, as a preview of the new material.

Collaboration and Production

Dandelion has been executive produced by Ella Langley, alongside renowned collaborators Miranda Lambert and Ben West. Both Lambert and West were also involved in the creation of Langley’s current hit single, “Choosin’ Texas,” which is anticipated to be featured on the album.

Meaning Behind the Album

In a social media video, Langley shares the significance behind the album’s title. She describes dandelions as “masters of survival,” capable of flourishing in challenging conditions. The seemingly common weed symbolizes hope, healing, and resilience. Langley explains that dandelion tea serves as a natural detox for the liver, making this album title fitting after her previous work titled hungover.

Creative Journey

Langley expresses that this album reflects her personal growth. She insists that she has invested more of herself into Dandelion than any previous project. The album explores themes of self-discovery, mistakes, and the normalcy of life experiences.

“I want this record to be something fans can relate to while also bringing joy and energy,” she states. She adds that the album evokes feelings reminiscent of “fireflies in the summertime” and “the best kind of Sunday afternoon.” According to Langley, the music serves as a love letter to cherished childhood memories of endless days.

Currently, Ella Langley has scheduled one performance in Canada. She is set to open for Eric Church on his Free The Machine Tour at the Scotiabank Arena on February 12.
