Charlton Athletic Signs Kenya International Centre-Back Collins Sichenje

Charlton Athletic has completed the signing of Kenya international centre-back Collins Sichenje. He joins the club from FK Vojvodina in Serbia for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old has signed a contract lasting three and a half years.

Collins Sichenje’s Background

Sichenje has had a diverse football career. He started with Leopards in Kenya before moving to play in Greece and Finland. Since 2024, he has been playing for FK Vojvodina in the Serbian Super Liga.

Strategic Signing

Charlton’s managing director, James Rodwell, expressed enthusiasm about the signing. “He’s a player we’ve been tracking for a long time,” he said. Rodwell noted that Sichenje was initially scheduled to join the club this summer as part of a strategic plan to enhance the team.
