Fuad Sule Joins Ballymena, Glentoran Signs Josh Daniels from TNS in Premiership Moves
Ballymena United has finalized its signing of midfielder Fuad Sule from Indonesian side Peris Solo. The player, aged 29, has previously played for Glentoran and Larne, winning an Irish Premiership title during his five seasons at Larne. Sule joined Glentoran in 2023 and claimed the County Antrim Shield in 2025 before leaving as a free agent last summer.
Increased Activity on Deadline Day
Glentoran also enhanced their roster by signing winger Josh Daniels on a long-term deal. The 29-year-old returns to Northern Ireland after stints with Derry City and Glenavon, as well as a move to Shrewsbury Town in 2020. Daniels was with The New Saints in 2022, where he earned three league titles, two Welsh Cups, and two Welsh League Cups.
Motivation to Return Home
Josh Daniels expressed his excitement about joining Glentoran. He noted the importance of returning home for family reasons. “This is one of the biggest clubs on the island of Ireland,” he remarked. Daniels highlighted that Glentoran had shown interest in him both before and during his time at Shrewsbury Town.
