Neil Young has made the significant decision to cancel his entire 2026 concert tour, which was to feature the Chrome Hearts band. The cancellation announcement was posted on the Neil Young Archives website.
Young expressed his gratitude towards his fans, stating, “I’m sorry to let you down, but this is not the time.” He emphasized his love for performing live but indicated a need for a break. The tour was anticipated to begin on June 19, 2026, in Manchester, England, and was set to span several countries, concluding in Udine, Italy, on July 26, 2026.

He has also offered his music as a gift to the people of Greenland, in reaction to political tensions involving the U.S. government. Young expressed his hope that his music will provide comfort to those facing challenges in Greenland.
He stated, “This is an offer of peace and love,” ensuring that the music he has created over the last 62 years would be available for free to residents of Greenland. Young’s actions underline his dedication to his audience and emphasize the power of music in uncertain times.
