Kimberly “Paige” Lundy, a dedicated behavior self-contained teacher at Hollis Hand Elementary School, has recently earned the title of Teacher of the Year. Experience in Education

With 23 years of experience in education, all within the Troup County School System, Lundy has spent the last nine years at Hollis Hand Elementary. Her role involves helping students with emotional and behavioral disorders develop trust, build relationships, and adopt coping strategies.

According to Lundy, the most rewarding aspect of her job is witnessing students who initially struggle with trust begin to open up. She highlighted the significance of these breakthroughs, where students start believing in themselves and learning to manage their emotions effectively.
