Nebraska Softball Rookies Shine in Opening Day
Freshman pitcher Alexis Jensen made an impressive debut, earning her first collegiate win. She pitched 5.0 innings, striking out 10 batters while allowing five runs, three of which were earned. Jensen’s performance marks a significant milestone, as she is the first true freshman pitcher for Nebraska to record double-digit strikeouts in her debut since Ashley Hagemann in 2009.
