Cadillac Unveils Innovative Two-Sided Livery for 2026 F1 Season

Cadillac has made headlines with the unveiling of its first-ever Formula 1 car livery for the 2026 season. The announcement, which coincided with the NFL’s Super Bowl, showcased a unique two-sided design that represents the brand’s identity in the high-speed world of racing.

Innovative Two-Sided Livery Design

The Cadillac F1 car will feature a striking two-sided livery. The left side of the vehicle is painted in a grayish-white hue, while the right side is black. This design pays homage to historical F1 liveries, reminiscent of the 1999 BAR livery that split colors to accommodate different sponsors.

Sponsor Highlights

While the livery is bold, it includes several prominent sponsors:

  • TWG: The team’s owner, which is displayed on the sidepods.
  • IFS: A Swedish software company, featured on the rear wing endplates.
  • Jim Beam: An American bourbon whiskey brand, showcased on the bargeboards.
  • Claro: A Mexican telecommunications company that supports driver Sergio Perez.
  • Telcel: Another brand connected to Perez, subtly positioned in front of the cockpit.
  • Tommy Hilfiger: The clothing brand features its logo on the nosecone.

Statements from Leadership

Dan Towriss, CEO of Cadillac, expressed the significance of this livery in relation to the team’s presence in Formula 1. He emphasized that the design is intentional and embodies a strong connection to American heritage and precision in racing.

“This livery represents far more than a paint scheme; it represents who we are and what we bring to Formula 1,” Towriss stated. The reveal during the Super Bowl and in Times Square was intended to launch their identity at a global level, merging performance with culture and entertainment.

Returning Drivers

For the 2026 season, Cadillac’s driver lineup includes Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas. Both drivers are returning after a year off, with a combined total of 16 grand prix wins and 23 pole positions. They also bring an impressive 106 podium finishes to the team, largely aided by Bottas’s successful tenure at Mercedes.

This launch marks an exciting chapter for Cadillac as it enters the competitive realm of Formula 1, setting high expectations for the upcoming season.
