WestJet Launches New Non-Stop Flights from Sault This Summer
Sault Ste. Marie residents now have a new travel option this summer. Beginning June 12, WestJet will launch non-stop flights from Sault Ste. Marie Airport to Calgary International Airport. This service will operate twice a week using a Boeing 737.
New Flight Offerings from Sault Ste. Marie
The introduction of this route is exciting news for Saultites looking to travel west. Terry Bos, president and CEO of the Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation, expressed enthusiasm about WestJet’s return. He stated, “The community has long asked for direct flights to the west, and now WestJet is here to make that request a reality.”
