Crash Overview
On February 17, 2025, Delta Flight 4819, operated by Endeavor Air, crashed upon landing after arriving from Minneapolis. The aircraft caught fire after flipping over and skidding on the tarmac. Fortunately, all 76 passengers and 4 crew members survived, though 21 individuals sustained injuries and required hospitalization.
Preliminary Findings
A preliminary report by the TSB, released in March, suggested that the aircraft landed at an unusually high speed. Data indicated it descended at approximately 1,100 feet per minute, which exceeds normal landing speeds. Wind gusts likely contributed to this increased speed.
