The airline, based in Seattle, initiated its Incheon-Seattle route in September 2025. Many participants indicated they had already planned to visit Korea, showcasing heightened interest in Korean culture such as K-pop.
In-Flight Experience and Differentiation Strategy
To stand out in the competitive market, Alaska Airlines is enhancing its onboard offerings. Passengers on the Incheon-Seattle route enjoy Korean-inspired meals like chicken bulgogi and jajangmyeon, along with West Coast favorites such as Stumptown Coffee and Salt & Straw ice cream.
