Raye Offers Compensation to Fans Missing Her Paris Concert

British singer Raye has publicly apologized after numerous fans were denied entry to her recent concert in Paris. This incident occurred due to a technical error with Ticketmaster, which left many legitimate ticket holders unable to enter the Accor Arena. Raye expressed her disappointment in a statement, emphasizing that the situation was unacceptable and beyond her control.

Fans Affected by Ticketmaster Error

On February 19, Raye revealed that the issue was linked to a Ticketmaster system malfunction. A total of 65 tickets were deemed invalid upon purchase, preventing their owners from attending the concert. Raye conveyed her sadness, stating, “I feel devastated about this situation.”

Compensation Offers for Fans

  • Ticketmaster has compensated the affected fans with refunds and vouchers.
  • However, Raye believes this is inadequate for the disappointment experienced by her fans.
  • To take responsibility, she pledged to offer free tickets for future shows and signed vinyl records to the affected attendees.

“I want to provide the 65 people who could not attend with free tickets to any future Raye show of their choice, along with a signed vinyl,” the 28-year-old singer-songwriter stated. She recognized that this gesture may not fully alleviate the disappointment but hoped it would offer some consolation.

Concert Tour Details

Raye’s tour supports her upcoming album, “This Music May Contain Hope,” which is set to release on March 27. The tour officially began on January 22 in Lodz, Poland, and will continue through various major European cities before moving to North America at the end of March.
