Sky One Returns: Iconic TV Channel Revived on Sky Q and Glass TVs
Sky One has made a triumphant return to television after a six-year hiatus. The beloved channel, which originally launched in 1989, has now reappeared on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q as of February 24, 2026. It was previously retired in September 2021 when it was replaced by Sky Showcase.
Accessing Sky One
Viewers will find Sky One available exclusively to subscribers of the Ultimate TV bundle, starting at £22 per month. This premium package offers a variety of features, including access to five standalone streaming services, such as Disney+ and HBO Max, at no additional cost. In contrast, the basic Sky TV Essentials package, priced at £15, does not include Sky One or most of the new streaming services.
What to Expect on Sky One
- The return of popular shows like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.
- Fan favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs. and Ted will also be airing.
