Wizz Air Suspends All Online Bookings
Wizz Air has announced a temporary suspension of its online booking and digital customer service platforms. This service interruption is scheduled to take place from 23:00 CET on February 25, 2026, until 08:00 CET on February 26, 2026. The reason for this downtime is a scheduled systems upgrade aimed at enhancing reliability and stability.
Details of the Digital Service Suspension
During the specified maintenance window, users will face several restrictions, including:
- Inability to book new flights
- Modification of existing reservations will not be possible
- Online check-in will be suspended
- Booking functions on the Wizz Air app will be unavailable
- Vouchers cannot be redeemed
- Access to account-related services will be restricted
Despite the digital service suspension, all flight operations are expected to run as scheduled. Passengers who have already checked in or downloaded their boarding passes will not experience any disruptions.
Advice for Passengers
Olivia Harangozo, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, emphasized the airline’s commitment to providing a reliable service. She stated, “This planned upgrade will further develop our systems and support future improvements across our digital platforms.”
To ensure a smooth travel experience, Wizz Air recommends that passengers traveling during the outage complete their online check-in and download boarding passes ahead of time. For those who need to check in at the airport, this service will be available at no additional charge during the maintenance period.
Wizz Air anticipates that all digital services will be fully operational immediately following the completion of the systems upgrade.
