İzmir Eğitim Community Gathers for Iftar Dinner
In a meaningful gathering, the İzmir Education Community celebrated an iftar dinner on April 10, 2023, at the İzmir Police Moral Education Center. Organized in collaboration with the İzmir Provincial Directorate of National Education and the General Directorate of Foundations, this event brought together educators to share the blessings of Ramadan.
Highlights of the Iftar Dinner
A total of 278 guests attended the event, including key figures such as Dr. Ömer Yahşi, the İzmir Provincial Education Director, and Tahir Emre Can, the İzmir Regional Director of Foundations. The gathering featured a musical performance by students from Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Anadolu İmam Hatip High School and a Quran recitation by a student from Buca Çakabey İmam Hatip Middle School.

Continuing the Tradition
The iftar dinner was part of a series of initiatives by the General Directorate of Foundations, aiming to renew communal ties and moral values during the holy month. Without losing sight of the importance of education, Yahşi reiterated the role of educational institutions in nurturing values and commitment among students.
