Cantilever Media, a notable animation production company in the UK, has successfully garnered a £500,000 investment from Creative UK’s Creative Growth Finance (CGF). This funding aims to bolster its distribution arm, Kazoo Films, established in 2024, dedicated to animated features for children and families.

Investment Details and Future Plans

The investment will allow Kazoo Films to distribute several upcoming projects from Cantilever Media. A highlight of these is “Unstable,” directed by Benoit Godbout, which is currently in production and scheduled for release in 2027. Additionally, Dana Dorian’s animated feature “Bird Brain,” with a budget of $15 million, will also be a part of this distribution initiative.
