“‘God of War’ Series Casts Modi, Magni, Gna, and Thrud”

The upcoming adaptation of the “God of War” series on Amazon Prime Video has expanded its cast with four new members. The series, which is based on the popular video game, now includes Louis Cunningham, Ben Chapple, Evelyn Miller, and Island Austin.

New Cast Members Added

  • Louis Cunningham has been cast as Modi: The middle child of Sif and Thor, Modi possesses a gentle nature and an obsessive curiosity.
  • Ben Chapple takes on the role of Magni: The eldest son of Sif and Thor, Magni is an excellent hunter but seeks deeper significance in life.
  • Evelyn Miller appears as Gna: As Odin’s Valkyrie commander, Gna is a fierce warrior known for her unwavering loyalty to Odin.
  • Island Austin is joining as Thrud: The youngest child of Sif and Thor, Thrud is inquisitive and serves as a peace-maker in her family.

Cunningham and Austin are set to be series regulars, while Chapple and Miller will appear in a recurring capacity. They join an already impressive cast, including Ryan Hurst as Kratos and Callum Vinson as his son, Atreus.

Storyline and Production Details

This series will explore the journey of Kratos and Atreus as they navigate the challenges of the Norse pantheon. The plot centers on the duo’s quest to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye. As they embark on their adventure, the story will depict Kratos teaching Atreus about godhood while Atreus attempts to instill humanity in his father.

Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, the series is co-produced in association with PlayStation Productions and Tall Ship Productions. Ronald D. Moore serves as the writer and executive producer, with Frederick E.O. Toye directing the initial episodes.
