Who Has a Bye: Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, and Vanderbilt

The top four seeds — No. 1 Florida, No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Arkansas, and No. 4 Vanderbilt — earned double byes and did not play until Friday's quarterfinals. Florida clinched the SEC regular season title at 15-2 in conference play and is the favorite to win the tournament and potentially the national title.

Florida is the only legitimate No. 1 seed threat in the bracket — the conference boasts tremendous depth but not four potential top seeds the way it did a year ago.

Auburn Eliminated: NCAA Tournament Bubble in Crisis

After trailing by as many as 11 points, Tennessee put together a dominant second-half rally including 20 consecutive points to defeat Auburn 72-62. Nate Ament led the charge with 27 points to eliminate the Tigers. Auburn's NCAA Tournament hopes took a severe blow with the loss.

The semifinals take place Saturday, March 14, with both games airing on ESPN. The SEC Tournament championship game tips Sunday, March 15 — the final day before Selection Sunday — also on ESPN. The winner earns the SEC's automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
