Medics attended but the 26-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. CCTV footage examined by investigators shows the victim seated in a white Nissan Juke when a suspect approached on a bicycle and fired multiple times; the suspect then rode away.

A Nissan Juke was later transported from the cordoned area while shattered glass lay across the roadway and forensic teams conducted examinations at the scene. The investigation remains active and the cordon on Chalton Street is still in place as officers continue to gather evidence.
