Born on December 20, 1968, in Marrakesh, Nadia Farès spent her early years in Nice. Later, she moved to Paris to pursue a career in acting. She made her film debut in 1992 with “My Wife’s Girlfriends.” However, she gained significant recognition with her standout performance in the 2000 film “The Crimson Rivers,” directed by Mathieu Kassovitz and co-starring Jean Reno and Vincent Cassel.

A fellow swimmer attempted to perform CPR before she was transported to Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital. She remained in an artificially induced coma until her unfortunate cardiac arrest on April 17.
According to reports, an investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances surrounding her injuries, although no offense has been identified so far.
