Spotify Down Hit 3,600 U.S. Reports as Streaming Broke

Spotify App Problems Led the Reports

Downdetector data showed 55 per cent of users said the app was not working properly. Another 23 per cent reported problems using audio streaming features. A smaller 15 per cent said they could not connect to Spotify’s servers.

India Saw Similar Complaints

About 117 reports were recorded in India during the same time. There, 53 per cent of complaints were about problems with the app, 20 per cent were login issues, and around 17 per cent were server connection problems.

Spotify Had No Explanation

Spotify had not yet said what caused the disruption or when service would be fully fixed. The company usually reports such issues on its official support pages, but users on X responded with frustration and humor while the outage continued.
