Leann Rimes Reschedules Two Shows After Severe Illness
Leann Rimes rescheduled two concerts in Washington state after saying on April 29 that a severe illness kept her from traveling or performing this week. The Spokane and Seattle dates moved from the end of April to late May and early June, giving ticket-holders a new target instead of a canceled run.
Spokane and Seattle shift
Rimes had been set to play the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox in Spokane, Washington, on Thursday, April 30, and Benaroya Hall in Seattle, Washington, on Friday, May 1. The Spokane show moved to Sunday, May 31, and the Seattle date moved to Tuesday, June 2. She wrote that she was “truly heartbroken” to reschedule and thanked fans for their “kindness and continued support as I recover.”
The timing puts the change at the center of a tightly packed two-night routing, which matters because both performances were in Washington and separated by only one day. For people holding tickets, the practical move is simple: the same shows now land five weeks later in Spokane and just over a month later in Seattle.

Rimes posted the update on Wednesday, April 29, in an Instagram Story and said, “Due to severe illness, I am unable to travel & perform this week.” That is the only explanation she gave for the change, and it leaves the schedule adjustment as the immediate consequence for the audience rather than a longer run of cancellations.
The development lands about a month after Rimes went viral on March 29 with footage of a deep jaw release procedure. On April 20, she pushed back on online speculation about the clip, saying, “I can act, but I am not that good. I am not Meryl Streep.”

The 60-second clip, shared with Human Garage, showed Rimes undergoing a self-healing process designed by Garry Lineham. She later marked her 15th wedding anniversary with Eddie Cibrian on April 23 and wrote about “tears and worry” at home with family, which gives the current postponement a personal weight beyond a routine schedule change.
For ticket-holders, the next step is to treat the new dates as the working schedule: Spokane on May 31 and Seattle on June 2. The move preserves both engagements and gives the tour room to continue once Rimes is able to return to the stage.
