Town of Hamburg Launches CivicReady Emergency Alert May 1

Residents in the Town of Hamburg will get a new emergency alert option on May 1, when the town switches to the CivicReady Mass Notification System. The free service will send emergency alerts and town information by phone, text message, or email.

The town says the system will be used for emergencies and community events around Hamburg, New York. That gives residents one place to receive town notices instead of relying on separate updates.
