Jaylen Brown Says Nutrafol Men Lifted Hair Thickness
jaylen brown said his hair has changed over the past few months after taking Nutrafol Men daily, with thicker coverage, less shedding and more visible scalp along the top of his head. The Boston Celtics wing said the shift has been encouraging after years of noticing thinning.
Brown and Nutrafol Men
Brown said he first started seeing changes in his hair a couple of years ago, when small areas of thinning began to show. He later addressed the issue live on Twitch, after a hair loss concealing product he was using started rubbing off on opponents’ jerseys during games in late October.
He also reached out to LeBron James for advice, including a voicemail that said, "We got some real shit to talk about. It's a code red" and another that asked, "Turkey or no turkey? And I ain't talking about no cheese sandwich." Brown said he consulted with James on a trip to Turkey.
Brown's Public Turning Point
"Talking openly about my hair thinning at that moment, especially on Twitch, was a little vulnerable," Brown said. "It’s not something guys always feel comfortable addressing." That came after he described the situation as one in which "something personal kind of got pulled into the spotlight in real time" and said, "You realize how quickly something can turn into a viral conversation online."
The 29-year-old said the public attention made the change impossible to ignore, but his current routine has given him a clearer read on what works. "I’ve been taking Nutrafol Men daily for the past few months, and I’ve started to notice improvements in thickness, less shedding, and more visible coverage along the scalp, which has been encouraging," he said.
Celtics Context
Brown's comments arrive after a season in which he led the Celtics to their first NBA Championship in 16 years and won Finals MVP. He had said Boston was expected to have a gap year after Jayson Tatum suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon, even as Brown said he averaged nearly 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
For Brown, the hair change became a separate public storyline from the title run, but it followed the same pattern: a visible issue, a direct response, and a specific routine he says is now paying off. The Celtics star has turned a private concern into a public one, then into something he says is improving day by day.
