Newcastle United Sodexo Deal Brings £10m Boost at St James' Park
Newcastle United has struck the newcastle united sodexo deal, a £10m agreement for food and drink provision at St James' Park. The move adds another commercial line to a club that has been chasing revenue growth since the 2021 takeover.
Thierry Delaporte Beats Three Bidders
The account went to Sodexo after it beat three other global bidders, and the deal was brokered between Hopkinson and Thierry Delaporte. That puts the Newcastle contract in the hands of a company that will now treat St James' Park as a Global Showcase Account.
Sodexo plans to deploy its latest technology and enhanced offerings inside the stadium to lift the guest experience. For Newcastle, the agreement is another step in the push to narrow the revenue gap with the Big Six through higher-value partnerships.
St James' Park And KNOX Hydradtion
The timing also sits alongside Newcastle's recent partnership with South African energy drinks company KNOX Hydradtion, which will put its name on the training ground. With Sela's front-of-shirt sponsorship deal due to end this season, the club's commercial picture is moving quickly.
That leaves St James' Park heading into next season with a new food and drink operator in place and a stronger commercial profile around it. The £10m Sodexo deal gives Newcastle another revenue stream to point at as it continues to build out the business side of the club.
