Msc Cruises adds a 50-foot yacht club at Miami GP

msc cruises has added a 50-foot-tall, five-level Yacht Club structure to the Miami Grand Prix in 2026. The temporary build rises above Turn 8 at the Miami International Autodrome and offers access for 20 people at $95,000.

Katharina Nowak on the 2026 plan

Miami Grand Prix president Katharina Nowak said the team wanted to keep raising the bar after Oscar Piastri won the 2025 Miami GP for McLaren. She said, “We started thinking about how we can continue to raise the bar each year,” and added, “The one way we wanted to do that was by elevating the view, and we had only one way to do that, which was to build up.”

Nowak also said, “Everyone was surprised to see when we turned up with real yachts and fake water that got a lot of news and press, which we’re … thankful for,” and, “But it also turned into the iconic moment for Miami, and we decided to continue to lean into that further this year.”

Inside the MSC Yacht Club

The MSC Yacht Club spans 32,000 square feet and 264 feet in length. It rises over five levels, includes several swimming pools, and has food and drink stands throughout. At its lowest point, the structure stands half as high as the other hospitality structures along the 3.36-mile track, but it still gives wide views of the flowing end of the first sector.

Pierre Gasly said on Thursday, “I love entertainment in America.” He also said, “Whatever they do, they do it in a big way and in a big fashion. They managed to create an atmosphere and hype around the event, which makes it very unique. Everywhere you walk around, as soon as you get to the track, it just feels quite different.”

Miami GP pricing and 2027

The new structure replaces the fake marina used at the inaugural Miami GP in 2022, when the event joined the Formula 1 calendar and charged $500 for race-day general admission passes. That first setup featured smaller speedboats encased in boards painted to look like Miami Beach and South Beach waters.

The Miami GP now has a deal to run every year until at least 2041, and the team is already planning one of the largest Paddock Club buildings for 2027, with room for 9,000 people. For guests weighing the new offer, the price is clear: $95,000 for access for 20 people above Turn 8.
