Barcelona Women Beat Bayern Munich 4-2 To Reach Final

Barcelona women are back in the Women's Champions League final after beating Bayern Munich 4-2 at Camp Nou and advancing 5-3 on aggregate. The win sends Barcelona into a sixth consecutive final, with Lyon waiting in Oslo on 23rd May.

Camp Nou Turns After 13 Minutes

Salma Paralluelo put Barcelona ahead after 13 minutes, and Linda Dallmann answered for Bayern Munich to level the match. Alexia Putellas restored Barcelona's lead before halftime, giving the home side control of a semifinal that kept swinging until the end.

Ewa Pajor added a powerful header, then Putellas struck again to push Barcelona clear at 4-2. Pernille Harder cut into the margin with Bayern Munich's second goal through the legs of Cata Coll, and she later had a 90th minute strike ruled out by VAR.

Putellas Drives Barcelona Again

Putellas finished with two goals and the decisive second-half influence Barcelona needed to close out the tie. Her first goal before halftime broke Bayern's response, and her second helped turn a tight semifinal into a result that left the aggregate score at 5-3.

Bayern still created enough to keep Barcelona from cruising. Harder's late chance, taken away by VAR, was the clearest reminder that the match stayed alive deep into stoppage time even after Barcelona had built a two-goal cushion.

Lyon Awaits In Oslo

Barcelona now move on to Lyon in the final in Oslo on 23rd May, and the trophy match will be the fourth meeting between the two clubs. For Barcelona, the route is familiar, but the margin was earned in a semifinal that asked questions before Putellas and the rest of the attack answered them.
