ITE Hong Kong 2026 adds Uganda, Mongolia and Peru pavilions

ITE Hong Kong 2026 will run from 11 to 14 June in hong kong and add new official pavilions for Uganda, Mongolia and Peru. The event will split its run between trade professionals on the first two days and the public on the last two.

Hong Kong travel market

The show comes as Hong Kong's outbound travel expenditure reached US$28.9 billion in 2024 and the city recorded 117 million departures in 2025. ITE Hong Kong is marking its 40th anniversary this year as the 40th edition of ITE Leisure and the 21st ITEMICE.

That scale helps explain why the event is being used for sourcing and networking. In 2025, 88% of exhibitors came from outside Hong Kong and 50% of buyer-trade visitors did as well, with 70% of those visitors coming from the Greater Bay Area.

Uganda, Mongolia and Peru

The new pavilions from Uganda, Mongolia and Peru add more national representation to an event that already pulls participation from beyond the city. Organizers will also introduce an Ice and Snow Travel Pavilion, while the China Pavilion will expand to 21 participating provinces and cities.

The Ice and Snow Travel Pavilion will include exhibitors from northern Canada and Iceland. B2B and B2C programmes will also include business matching, KOL networking and forums on sustainable tourism.

March 2026 visitor demand

Interest in the June event is already showing up online. The trade website's monthly traffic rose from 84,000 in late 2025 to 168,939 by March 2026.

A March 2026 survey found that 62.5% of public visitors planned to increase their travel budget, 25.3% intended to maintain it and 43% were interested in booking onsite, often through mobile devices. For readers following the expo, the practical takeaway is simple: June will bring a wider mix of destinations, and the busiest days for trade access will remain the first two.
