Coleen Nolan Denies £5million Claims as Money Worries Persist
Coleen Nolan says she is not a millionaire, and she says the money pressure is still real. The 61-year-old rejected online estimates that put her at £5million, saying ITV cuts to Loose Women have hit her pay packet and made her worry about her financial future.
Nolan Rejects £5million Claims
"Honestly I wish to God that was true," she said on the Nolans Uncensored podcast. Nolan added, "We are far from millionaires, far, far, far!" The line she pushed back against is blunt enough: people look at her and assume she can absorb every bill, every cost and every extra request.
"Everything I do people go, 'It’s alright for you, you can afford it'," she said. That complaint cuts to the core of the story. Nolan is not arguing about image; she is arguing about cash flow, and she is saying the public version of her life does not match the one she is managing at home.
Loose Women Cuts Hit Pay
ITV's continuing cuts to Loose Women have massively hit her pay packet, and the show has been forced off the air for several weeks. Several longtime panellists were unable to appear in as many episodes as normal because of the cuts, tightening the squeeze on one of the show's regular faces.
Nolan, who is 61, said she is afraid of her work drying up and still needs to pay her mortgage. For a presenter whose income depends on steady screen time, fewer episodes mean less money in circulation, not just for her but for others who relied on the same format.
Staffordshire Farm Pressure
She said she is trying to make ends meet on the family's Staffordshire farm, where she cannot afford to hire anyone to keep things running smoothly. "I didn’t realise it would be this hard as in doing it all," she said, then added, "contrary to what you all believe I am not a millionaire and I cant afford staff!"
The farm is where the financial strain becomes personal. Nolan said the costs leave her juggling work, bills and upkeep without extra help, a sharper picture than the public-facing millionaire label suggests. The practical takeaway is simple: she says she needs the work to keep coming, because the costs are landing faster than the appearances.
