Nintendo Announces Pokémon Pokopia Bundle for Australia and New Zealand

Nintendo announced a pokémon pokopia Switch 2 bundle for Australia and New Zealand, with release set for 5th June 2026. The package pairs the Switch 2 system with a full game download for Pokémon Pokopia and will be sold at select retailers and on the My Nintendo Store.

Nintendo Switch 2 Bundle

The bundle gives buyers a new hardware-and-game option tied to a recent release rather than a standalone console sale. Nintendo also released a Switch 2 bundle including Mario Kart World, and it had already put out a Switch 2 bundle for Pokémon Legends: Z-A before this announcement.

Pokémon Pokopia launched in March, and sales passed 2.2 million units globally in the first four days. That early demand helps explain why Nintendo is pairing the game with new hardware in a limited regional offer instead of treating it as a wider launch package.

Australia and New Zealand

The bundle has only been confirmed for Australia and New Zealand, which makes the offer more targeted than Nintendo’s earlier Switch 2 packages. For buyers in those markets, the practical choice is between select retailers and the My Nintendo Store, with both carrying the same bundle and the same June release date.

The in-store release version of Pokémon Pokopia is a game-key card, so the bundle’s full game download gives purchasers a different format from the retail card version. For players who want the Switch 2 and the game together on the first day of availability, 5th June 2026 is the date to watch.
