Green Brigade Tifo Plans Set for Celtic’s Sunday Hibs Match

The Green Brigade has announced its tifo for Celtic’s Sunday match against Hibernian at Easter Road, and the display will be built around flags handed out at the turnstiles. The support group said the game is the latest must-win match of the season, with Celtic still in the title race.

Green Brigade tifo at Easter Road

“To inspire the team, the Green Brigade has prepared a tifo.” The group also said, “Sunday represents the latest, must win match and the most important of our season. From the first moment 'til the last, we must back the team; we must stay with them; and we must fight together for every ball.”

North Curve Celtic posted the announcement on X on May 2, 2026, giving supporters the first clear instruction for the trip to Edinburgh. Martin O'Neill’s side are the first of the three teams in the title race to play their match, which puts the focus on Celtic before Hearts and Rangers meet on Monday at Tynecastle.

Flags at the turnstiles

The display has been altered by Hibs’ decision not to allow flags to be set up inside the stadium. The group said, “Unfortunately, Hibs are not allowing the flags to be setup inside therefore they will be distributed at the turnstiles instead.”

Supporters were told to take a flag and wave as the team enters the field. That means the pre-match scene at Easter Road will depend on fans collecting the flags on arrival rather than finding them placed inside the ground, with the away support again being asked to set the tone before kickoff.

“For months, the Celtic away support has carried the team through the toughest moments - keeping us firmly in this title fight.” That is the backdrop to Sunday, and it puts the spotlight on how well the away end follows the simple instruction laid out in the message: “Please take a flag and wave as the team enters the field.”

Hearts and Rangers on Monday

Celtic’s match comes first in a three-team title-race sequence, with Hearts and Rangers due to do battle on Monday at Tynecastle. The timing gives Sunday’s visit to Easter Road immediate weight, because the result will land before the other contenders take the field.
