BMW Discloses Bmw Ix3 Price, 434-Mile Range For 2027
BMW disclosed that the 2027 bmw ix3 50 xDrive starts at $62,850 and carries an EPA-estimated range of up to 434 miles. The electric compact luxury SUV is scheduled to go on sale sometime in September, giving shoppers a price and range figure to work with before deliveries begin.
Eric Stafford On iX3 Pricing
Eric Stafford reported the pricing, range and option details for the 2027 iX3. The SUV uses a 463-hp dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain, and BMW says shoppers can configure it now on its consumer site.
The standard equipment list is long for a base model. BMW includes a windshield-spanning dashboard display, ambient interior lighting, bi-directional charging and driver assists as standard features.
BMW iX3 Range And Wheels
The range figure changes with wheel and tire choice. BMW says the version with the smallest wheels and no-cost summer tires can travel up to 434 miles, while the same setup with standard all-season rubber is rated at 483 miles.
Larger wheels cut into that figure. BMW lists a 398-mile range with 21-inch wheels and summer tires, 399 miles with 21-inch wheels and all-seasons, and 392 miles with available 22-inch wheels.
Porsche Macan EV And Optiq
BMW is pitching the iX3 against other all-wheel-drive electric luxury SUVs, and the numbers it disclosed put it in a different price-and-range bracket than two direct rivals. The AWD Porsche Macan EV starts at $86,350 and tops out at 304 miles of range, while the AWD Cadillac Optiq starts at $56,195 and peaks at 303 miles.
The iX3 also has a detailed option list already posted on BMW's consumer site. Paint colors cost $650, the Parking Assistant package costs $750, the Comfort package costs $1,500, the Technology package costs $1,900, and the Driving Assistance Professional and M Sport packages each cost $2,500. The M Sport Professional package costs $4,000.
BMW says selecting every available option puts the iX3 in the neighborhood of $80,000. For buyers, that means the headline $62,850 starting price is only the floor; the final number depends on how much equipment they add before September.
