Vodafone 5g Broadband Uk Launches 3.7 Million Home Offer From £21

Vodafone has launched vodafone 5g broadband uk for homes that cannot get full fibre, with plans starting at £21 a month. The service uses the mobile network and needs no installation or cabling. That gives some households a faster route to broadband without waiting for a fixed-line build.

Rob Winterschladen on 74 Mbps

Rob Winterschladen, VodafoneThree's consumer director, said: "Millions of households are still paying over the odds for unreliable and slow broadband that often only reaches 74 Mbps. With Vodafone 5G Broadband, we’re giving those homes a genuinely fast alternative, at great value, with no installation, no waiting and no hassle,". The comparison is blunt. Vodafone is pitching the product at homes that have been stuck below the speeds the company says are often available through existing service.

Vodafone 5G Broadband Plans

The first plan offers speeds of up to 50 Mbps. It costs £21 per month on a 24-month contract or £30 per month on a 30-day basis. Vodafone also offers a 150 Mbps plan. That plan costs £22 per month over 24 months or £32 per month on a 30-day rolling contract.

3.7 Million UK Homes

Vodafone says the service could open the door for around 3.7 million homes in the UK. The package sits alongside Vodafone's full fibre broadband plans. It also uses the provider's mobile network, which makes the product different from a standard fibre install and keeps the setup tied to coverage rather than street-level cabling.

The practical question now is availability. Vodafone has set out prices, speeds, and the homes it wants to reach. It has not said which properties can order the service first, so the immediate next step for households is to check whether their address falls inside the coverage footprint.
