Red Dead Redemption 2 Joins Ps Plus Games on May 19
ps plus games are getting a two-headliner upgrade on May 19, when Red Dead Redemption 2 and Star Wars Outlaws join PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. Arthur Morgan is back in the PS4 version of Red Dead Redemption 2, while Kay Vess’s 2024 outing gives the catalog a newer release alongside it.
May 19 lineup
Red Dead Redemption 2 included Red Dead Online and is the PS4 version being added. Star Wars Outlaws arrives from Ubisoft as the first-ever open-world Star Wars game, and the same date also brings Bramble: The Mountain King, The Thaumaturge, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, Broken Sword – Shadows of the Templar: Reforged, and Enotria: The Last Standard Edition to Extra and Premium.
That is the practical change for subscribers: one date, seven catalog additions, and two marquee games that sit at opposite ends of the release timeline. Red Dead Redemption 2 launched in 2018; Star Wars Outlaws landed in 2024, after launch patches made it more fun to play.
Premium gets Time Crisis
Time Crisis joins the Premium-only classics catalog on May 19 for PS4 and PS5. The arcade shooter first released in 1997, and this version supports gyro aiming, which is the one feature here that changes how the game can be played on current PlayStation hardware.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has bounced between PlayStation Plus and Game Pass over the years, but this return still lands without a current-gen performance patch of any kind. Premium subscribers get the extra old-school option in Time Crisis; everyone else gets the main catalog pair and the rest of the May 19 additions.
For players deciding whether to stay subscribed, the pitch is straightforward: May 19 delivers two long-tail catalog titles, one new-era Star Wars game, and a classics pick that only Premium members can access. If you have Extra or Premium, the move is to clear space and queue up the downloads when the library refreshes.
