Paris Game for Pittsburgh
The Steelers will face the New Orleans Saints in Week 7 on Oct. 25 in the NFL Paris Game. Art Rooney II said, “We're honored to represent the Pittsburgh Steelers and the NFL in the League's first-ever game in Paris this upcoming season,” and added, “Playing the New Orleans Saints in such a historic setting is a great opportunity to showcase the NFL's global growth and to connect with fans around the world. It's an exciting moment for our organization and for Steelers Nation everywhere.”
That trip gives Pittsburgh one of the most unusual dates on the slate, but it does not replace the usual pressure points on the schedule. The Steelers still have 17 games, including one additional away game because the league rotates the 17th game on a home-and-away basis each year.
Acrisure Stadium Openers
Pittsburgh starts at home against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. on FOX. The Steelers then visit the New England Patriots on Sunday, Sept. 20, host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Sept. 27, and go to the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, Oct. 1 in a Thursday Night Football game at Huntington Bank Stadium.
The home opener stands out because the Steelers have opened at home only 11 times since Acrisure Stadium opened in 2001, and their last home opener before 2026 came in 2014. They also have a strong recent track record against the Falcons, with a 16-2-1 all-time record, a 7-0-1 mark at home, and five straight wins in the series after an 18-10 road victory in 2024.
Road Tests and Rivalries
The schedule also sends Pittsburgh to Tampa Bay on Sunday, Oct. 18 and brings the Indianapolis Colts to Acrisure Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 11. The Steelers lead the Colts series 27-8 and have won eight of the last 10 meetings, while they hold a 10-2 edge over the Buccaneers and are 6-1 on the road in that matchup.
Four primetime games and six opponents that reached the 2025 postseason give the schedule more weight than a routine release. Pittsburgh will play the Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles after each of those teams made the playoffs in 2025, and the team’s first of four primetime games comes at Cleveland on Oct. 1.
