Grimsby Town Allocation Sells Out for Salford City Play-Off Tie Football Tomorrow

Grimsby Town’s allocation for football tomorrow at Salford City has completely sold out. There will be no tickets available on the night for the Sky Bet League Two Play-Off Semi-Final Second Leg at the Peninsula Stadium.

The fixture kicks off at 7:15pm, with turnstiles opening at 5:45pm. Supporters still travelling know exactly where they will go in once they arrive, but there is no late entry route through extra sales.

Peninsula Stadium entry points

Supporters with standing tickets will be located in the East Stand terrace behind the goal. Those with seating or wheelchair bay tickets will be situated in the North Stand, with entry for both sections via Turnstile Block A on Moor Lane using turnstiles 1, 2 and 3.

That layout gives travelling fans a fixed route into the ground and removes any uncertainty on arrival. The club has also told supporters to wear their traditional black and white home kit for the fixture, keeping the away end easy to identify on the night.

Salford City travel route

Travel advice for the Peninsula Stadium starts with the M60 at Junction 17, then the A56 towards Manchester City Centre. Supporters are then told to take the third turning on the right, signposted Oaklands Hall/St Pauls Church, onto Moor Lane, before using the main entrance on Neville Road, with the stadium on the right.

The parking picture is tighter than the ticket picture. There is no supporter parking at the stadium, a residents-only parking scheme is in operation around the ground, and only limited parking may be available on Moor Lane or towards the top of Kersal Road.

Manchester Victoria and Crumpsall

The nearest mainline station is Manchester Victoria, over three miles from the stadium, so supporters are being directed toward taxis or the 97 and 98 bus services. Crumpsall is the nearest Metrolink stop and is approximately a 30-minute walk away, in an area that is primarily residential.

Salford City’s supporter charter also says Blue Badge holders may park within the residents-only zone for up to three hours during restricted times from noon to 7pm. For Grimsby fans, the practical message is simple: the allocation has gone, the gate plan is set, and anyone heading to the Peninsula Stadium tomorrow needs to arrive ready to use the route and entry point already assigned to their ticket.
