John Fury Faces Rift as Noah Price Wedding Nears
16-year-old Venezuela Fury is set to marry noah price this weekend, pushing the Fury family feud back into public view. The engagement, which began at her 16th birthday party last year, now lands at the center of a split that has already reached Tyson Fury and John Fury.
19-year-old Price is the groom, and the age gap has fueled the reaction around the wedding. Tyson Fury has described him as a “decent fella,” while John Fury has argued the pair are “children!” and said, “I don't think she's mature enough for anything like - she's still a baby. On my watch a 15-year-old should never have a boyfriend, never.”
Tyson Fury and John Fury split
Earlier this year, Tyson Fury and John Fury had a major fallout, with John Fury saying his relationship with his son had been “completely destroyed” by boxing. Tyson Fury said his father had wanted him to retire six years ago after his first victory over Deontay Wilder, a clash that now sits behind the family’s wider rupture.
Last month, John Fury refused to attend Tyson Fury's comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov. Tyson Fury said, “He might do. But he didn't come to the Usyk II fight so I'm not holding my breath.”
Paris Fury backs Venezuela
Paris Fury has taken a different line, saying Venezuela is “so mature for her years” and adding, “She's done so much in such a short time just because of who she is and the fact that she's got six younger brothers and sisters that she's helped bring up, I can't deny it.” She also said, “I can't deny her because I was 17 when I got engaged. She's obviously following in my footsteps, so how can I judge her in any way.”
Paris Fury added, “I know she's young. But I think she's found the person she loves and if she's happy, I will completely support her.” That leaves the wedding in the middle of a family divide that has already played out on television and at ringside, with John Fury standing apart from the rest of the family.
John Fury and Noah Price
John Fury has tied his opposition to the marriage to age and to his concern over the engagement itself. Tyson Fury said, “My dad will do what my dad will do, he's his own man and there's nothing I can do about it. If he turns up, great and if he doesn't, also great.” For relatives and fans, the practical question is whether the wedding brings the feud closer to a break or simply makes the split harder to miss.
