Forza Horizon 6 Release Date Ps5 Arrives Later This Year

Forza Horizon 6 release date ps5 is now set later this year, while the game is already playable on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Players on those platforms can start now through the Xbox app and Steam, and Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can access the Standard Edition at no additional cost.

Xbox Series X|S and PC

The current launch puts the full game on Xbox Series X|S consoles and PC, and it also runs through Xbox Cloud Gaming on supported devices. That gives existing Xbox and PC players three ways in, but PlayStation 5 owners still have to wait for their version.

Forza Horizon 6 takes place in Japan and includes over 550 cars. It also has the most dense map in Horizon's history, which points to a larger amount of driving space to explore and more route variation than a simple numbers claim would suggest.

PlayStation Store Wishlist

PlayStation 5 players can add the game to their Wishlist on the PlayStation Store to get notified when it becomes available. That is the only direct action those players can take right now, and it leaves them waiting for the later-this-year release window rather than a firm date.

The game also adds a Collection Journal for discoveries, and the Festival Playlist opens only after players have qualified for the Horizon Festival and earned their first Wristband. Future updates will bring Evolving World changes, including seasonal Car Meets, so the launch version is not the final state of the game.

Series 1 Blog

The Series 1 blog includes the 2008 Mazda Furai as one of the reward cars. That gives early players a specific target inside the live rollout, while everyone else on PlayStation 5 is still waiting for access.
